FreeTraining offered by Denita Dinger (6 hr training over 3 sessions)
Denita Dinger proudly defends a child’s right to learn through play. She has a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has owned her own preschool/Family Child Care business for over 15 years. Dinger is the co-author of three books, Let them Play: An Early Learning Uncurriculum, Let’s Play, Let’s Play Together. She is a nationally-known speaker and has done workshops in Europe as well.
Participants will be able to…
1. Describe what true Kindergarten readiness is.
2. Discuss why child-led play is important for every child in their program.
3. Reflect on the adult roles in child-led play and determine what steps they need to take to properly take on those roles.
