Mind in the Making is a book written by Ellen Galinsky that defines the Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs. The life skills include focus and self control, perspective taking, communicating, making connections, critical thinking, taking on challenges and self-directed engaged learning. During this training participants will learn about each of these life skills and how to promote these skills within their early childhood settings.
