Participants will be able to:
1. Recognize the benefits of farm to early care and education initiatives (including procurement of local foods, gardening, and food and nutrition education) for children, families, and communities.
2. Identify key farm to early care and education initiatives that fulfill Head Start Program Performance and Early Learning Framework objectives, Montana Early Learning Standards, the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale and more.
3. Utilize resources from the National Farm to School Network and partner organizations to implement farm to early care and education initiatives in order to fulfill programmatic and learning standards.
