Recent Updates and Expanded Eligibility for Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarships
New updates include:
- $10 per month co-pay per scholarship family*
- All Best Beginnings Families will see their co-pays set to $10 per month
- Scholarships Cover the full authorized amounts regardless of attendance*
- To support families and various scheduling needs that may arise, the Best Beginning Scholarship will cover the full amount of scheduled care regardless of attendance
- Updated sliding fee scale now expands eligibility to more Montana families*
- Income Eligibility has been increased to serve additional families. For example, a family of 4 making $4,085 or less per month may be eligible for child care assistance.

*Policies go into effect June 1, 2021 and are based on the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) federal funding.
