Autism Spectrum Disorder and Related Diagnoses- Michelle Brown, Ann Lenling, Hope Sharr (2hours)

Thursday, December 7^th from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at CCC Helena Office or Family Promise in Bozeman. $17.50

This training will focus on the pediatric speech therapist and occupational therapist’s perspective on signs to look for related to the Autism Spectrum Disorder. We will review developmental milestones, developmental delays, how to make the learning environment more inclusive, and ways to monitor and speak to families about possible concerns. We will discuss the referral and diagnosis process, OT and ST role within ASD treatment, as well as provide information on how to best facilitate learning and engagement for students of all abilities.
