Child Care Connections is a local nonprofit advocating for the well-being and quality care of children. Our 4th Annual Coloring Contest celebrates early childhood and creates awareness of the important role early childhood plays in your community.
This FREE virtual event spans our six-county service area from April 1st – 27th and features art classes by local artists, prizes, and an awards celebration!

Schedule of Events & Virtual Art Classes
Keep an eye out for fun giveaways and virtual events on our Facebook page and here on our website from April 1st – April 27th, including:
-Tuesdays in April at 11 am: Throwback pre-recorded kids’ art classes from previous years
-Thursdays in April at 11 am: Kids’ art classes by local artists live or in the replay on our Facebook page and YouTube Channel:
- April 6th- Creature Features with Anna Lund
- April 13th- Abstract Art with Eric Dymit
- April 20th- Evergreen Trees with Sandi Van Middendorp
- April 27th-Wood Birdhouse with Trent Ryles + Awards Celebration!
-Weekly prize giveaways from video engagement to be held on Mondays following Thursday Art Classes
-April 21st – 26th: People’s Choice voting opens to the community
-Winners of People’s Choice will be contacted by 5 pm on April 26th to arrange delivery or pick up of prizes
-April 27th at 11 am: Virtual art class and Awards Celebration

Rules for Entry & Submissions
Rules for Entry:
-One entry per child age 0-12 or Caregiver (13+) in Gallatin, Broadwater, Meagher, Park, Jefferson, and Lewis and Clark counties
-Art must be made independently
-Artist’s name and age must be on the front of the page
-Use your imagination and draw what superpower you would have if you were a superhero!
-Artists must use the Official Coloring Sheet
-Submissions with images of weapons or violence will not be accepted
-The page must be submitted no later than April 26th, 2022 (Note People’s Choice voting starts April 21st so we encourage early entries whenever possible to make sure that contestants have a fairer chance at becoming one of this year’s Coloring Champions!)
Where do I submit my artwork by April 21st, 2022?

-Visit the People’s Choice Voting page, chose the age of the artist. You will be directed to the People’s Choice voting page where you can scroll down to the bottom and submit your entry.
-Mail it to Child Care Connections (CCC)
-Drop off at our CCC Offices in Bozeman or Helena:

If I win how will I be notified?
People’s choice helps us determine 2 winners from each age category (with the most votes) to be the 2023 coloring contest champions.
Winners will be notified on April 26th by 5 pm via phone and or email, as well as announced at the virtual award ceremony on April 27th at 11 am.

VOTING TERMS:
All art submitted to Child Care Connections 4th Annual Coloring Contest is original work by artists in our community. Please do not replicate without the artists’ permission.
Multiple individuals in one household or group can vote from the same computer or phone (example: parent and child, or teacher and students). Each individual should vote only once. Please be honest about this and do not return multiple times to vote on one entry) Entries suspected of “rigged” voting may be disqualified.
