Medical studies have shown that the average child begins to explore their gender between the ages of 3-5. Additionally, many kids begin to consider their sexual orientation as they go through puberty and begin to develop crushes. Add this to the number of youth who have a parent or parents that identify as LGBTQ+ (or other family and friends) and we begin to see that we can’t wait until youth are in their teens to talk, in an age-appropriate way, about sexual orientation and gender identity. These trainings will equip you with knowledge and skills to do just that!
