Participants will be able to:
1. Describe the relationship between behavior and the communication of distress for infants/toddler/preschoolers
2. Describe the form and function of behavior
3. Describe and have an opportunity to practice through casee study a process for developing and implementing a behavior support plan to respond to challenging behavior including establishing a behavior support team, goal setting, data collection, functional behavior assessment, intervention and supports
