This course is required for floaters or aids in programs for STAR 4.
Participants will be able to:
1.Describe the difference between Positive Behavior Support and traditional discipline approaches
2. Discuss how challenging behavior may be used instead of language by a child who has limited social skills or has learned that challenging behavior will result in meeting his or her needs
3. Summarize the steps in developing a behavior support plan
