Summary of what you will be doing during your lesson: Spring is here and with it comes the birds. Join us as we learn how to make our very own wooden birdhouses!
Materials: Reference photo of cuts if needed
- Ax2: 5 ½” x 4 1/4″
- Bx3: 5 ½” x 8″
- one will be the bottom and two will be the roof
- Note: 1 of the 3 will get cut to 4 3/4″ wide rather than 5 1/2″
- Cx2: 7″ x 5 1/2″
- Front (make 1 1/2″ hole at 2 1/2″ up center of wall) and back wall
- Cut 45-degree angle to the center. Start at the 4 1/2″ and meet at the top center
- Please only use these tools with an adult:
- chop saw or circular saw
- chop saw or circular saw
- drill and 1 1/2″ screws OR wood glue
- 1/8″ predrill bit
- drill bit for screws
- paint, markers, and stain to decorate
