About the Event
Safe quality child care is foundational to healthy children, communities, and economy. However, it remains easily overlooked as the child care system struggles to meet ever-growing demand. With approximately 32,000 working parents in Montana reliant on child care to stay in the workforce, 50% of the state’s employers say retention and recruitment are impacted by a lack of child care.
At Child Care Connections (CCC) it is our mission to advocate for the well-being and quality care of children by supporting early childhood professionals, families, and the communities we serve. Serving more than 14,000 community members in Gallatin, Lewis & Clark, Park, Meagher, Jefferson, and Broadwater Counties, CCC strives to improve access and affordability to safe licensed child care.
On November 17th, CCC will host the 7th Annual Early Childhood Luncheon, Bridging the Gap. This virtual event aims to inspire support for CCC’s work as we explore and celebrate our local early childhood systems through engaging stories from local employers, funders, CCC leadership, and Board of Directors.
Additional funds raised through this event will go toward the expansion of Child Care Connections’ Gap Child Care Scholarship Program, helping families afford child care through innovative solutions and partnerships.
